Make a Donation

Project Muso is the flagship initiative of Under the Baobab Tree, a volunteer-run non profit 501(c)(3) organization (EIN: 20-3171837). Your donations go directly to medical care, microfinance, community mobilization, and adult and adolescent education in Mali.

We need your help. Supporting Project Muso is an investment not only in a woman’s health and empowerment, but also in the future of her family and her community.

Do you want to dedicate your contribution as a gift to honor someone special in your life? When you make your donation, please email dedications@projectmuso.org with your name and contact information, the name and contact information of the person to receive the dedication, and any message you would like to include to honor that person.

    Save a pregnant mother’s life.

    By investing in the Solidarity Fund, we can provide health care and essential medicines for the poorest people, who cannot afford to pay for care. For example, health care, diagnostics, and essential medicines to cure a pregnant mother of severe malaria—an illness that can kill both mother and fetus—costs only

  • Help a woman launch a small business.

    By investing

    in our Springboard Microfinance Program, we can provide a loan that enables one woman to earn an income to support the health of her family.     ;

  • Sponsor a Community Health Worker

    to diagnose and provide life-saving treatment for simple cases of malaria in her community. A

    donation could support one Community Health Worker to protect the health of hundreds of people for a year.

  • Give what you can.

    Whatever the amount, we will ensure that it will go far, enabling the women we work with to overcome the conditions of poverty they face and improve the health of their communities.
