Many people in Yirimadjo cannot afford to pay for medical care and essential medicines, and this puts them in life-threatening situations when they get sick. Since the launch of the program in 2005, the Community Action Committee has coordinated medical consultation days with Project Muso medical staff. 1,550 consultations at sites throughout Yirimadjo have provided medical care and free essential medicines.
